This comic isn't against anime art, it's against the loads of requests from random anime fans to draw "so and so" from the "so and so" series.

My name is PurpleTriforce. I draw loads of Mario and Zelda fan art. I've played endless hours of Smash Bros, Snowboard Kids, Kirby, Animal Crossing, DDR, Donkey Kong, and several other bundles of games. Heck, I even used to like playing Sonic games. I'm currently enjoying classic games like Star Fox, Kid Icarus, and Doctor Mario. And I've played an estimate ammount of 50 hours of Galaxy since the day it came out.

In other words, I have "Nintendo bitch" written all over my face. Now lets compare to my anime fandom.

Literally the only series of anime I used to watch and enjoy were Fullmetal, Kenshin, and Pokemon. Other than that I love Miyazaki movies. There are series that I enjoy but I don't watch them hardly, or I prefer the manga. I've drawn various characters from anime series I've barely or never watched, only because I enjoy drawing new things.

In other words, my love for anime < my love for video games. Do half of you people seriously expect me to draw the whole clan of Atkatsuki? Or the whole cast of Bleach?

This has no relavence to the 9 requests list I've been doing. It's the annoyance of people who watch me for the anime art. There's several comments and faves on that half-assed picture of "anime so and so", while the detailed and many hours picture of "video game so and so" has little or no attention. It's a fact of life on DA.

If you don't like Mario, or hate it when I load up my gallery with him instead of Fullmetal, then PLEASE stop watching me. I'll continue to draw a few bishies every now and then, but the majority of my gallery is being replaced with video game fan art and OC's from now on. If you enjoy that kind of stuff, then good for you.
